OYSTERCARDS come pre-loaded with a cash value, and are debited with each journey made. There is a daily maximum amount that can be debited (a cap) regardless of how many times you use the card. This is calculated based on which zones you travel within, the time of your journey and of course how many journeys made.
OYSTERCARDS come pre-loaded at values of £10,15,20,25,30,35, 40 or 50 per card + a £5.00 activation fee per card. OYSTER CARDS are commissionable to you at 7% on the PRE-LOADED VALUE (The £5.00 activation fee is not commissionable).
Taking into account the average stay in London we are currently holding a stock of OYSTERCARDS with a £20.00 Value + £5.00 activation fee.
This equates to 3 days unlimited travel in Zones 1&2 – or longer if using the card once or twice a day, less if clients travel further into zones 3- 9. Any other values are available on request with a minimum purchase of 50 cards. A minimum of 14 days delivery is required.
There is no time limit with OYSTERCARDS and any unused value can be used on a return visit or topped up at any other stations if needed. *Child policy – there are no child OYSTERCARDS.
Children under the age of 11 years old travel free of charge on the underground when accompanied by an adult holding a valid travelcard./ Oyster Card (ratio:1 adult per 4 children) Children aged 11-15 years old require a valid child ticket as per the reduced paper Travelcard prices above.
