About this Hotel

Parknasilla Resort & Spa located between Kenmare and Sneem on the Ring of Kerry is one of Ireland’s best luxury hotels and enjoys a rich heritage dating back to 1692.
Presidents and poets, royalty and writers, actors and artists have chosen the Parknasilla Hotel in County Kerry as a haven of rest, relaxation and inspiration – and now you can follow in their footsteps.
This stunning hotel & spa offers 83 hotel bedrooms tucked away amidst islands, inlets and hidden beaches along the Wild Atlantic Way in Kerry, with 500 acres of lush tropical vegetation mapped out into walks & trails for guests to explore.
Perhaps you are travelling with a group of friends or with extended family and the independence of a Self Catering Holiday suits your needs better.
The superbly designed and comfortable holiday homes on the estate of Parknasilla are idyllic for a self catering holiday with all the services of the hotel nearby.
Almost 120 years since the esteemed architect John Franklin Fuller designed this great hotel, the landscape that surrounds Parknasilla remains as unspoilt and lush as it was then.
Guests can enjoy a series of spa experiences prior to a treatment or over several hours, reuniting the senses and reinvigorating the body.
The centerpiece of the spa is the 18m swimming pool with Panoramic Sea views of Kenmare bay. An atmosphere of intense, exclusive tranquility is created by the floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Kenmare Bay.
The Pygmalion Restaurant receives it’s name after George Bernard Shaw’s most popular play, named after a Greek mythological character.
The play was later adapted for the more commonly known “My Fair Lady” musical.
The room itself is decorated in an elegant Victorian style, with high ceilings, large impressive gilt edge paintings and luxurious chandeliers.
The beautiful bay windows provide the diner with a majestic view over the Kenmare Bay and Caha mountains.
Again the Doolittle bar derives its name inspiration from the great George Bernard Shaw.
The bar is named after the star of his play Pygmalion, Eliza Doolittle.
Tim, the bar manager, has a focus on ensuring that the lounge service relishes its reputation as a relaxed and casual atmosphere serving high quality light snacks and bar food.
