The Glenspean Lodge Hotel is tucked away in an idyllic spot near Fort William, just two miles outside of the pretty little village of Roy Bridge.
Sitting on a peaceful hillside with beautiful mountain views, the hotel offers the perfect place to reflect and relax! In a delightfully secluded setting, the hotel is a world away from everyday life and its unwanted distractions. From walks, canoeing and fishing to quad biking, paintballing and clay pigeon shooting, they can arrange lots of activities during your stay, so it’s not too peaceful!
The beautiful dining room only adds to the magical atmosphere here at the Glenspean Lodge Hotel. As you enjoy a romantic meal, you can gaze out over Ben Nevis (as well as into each others eyes of course!). If you want to venture out and enjoy the freshest of fresh air, you’ll find wonderful walks within the five acres of hillside and woodland. Just 20 minutes away, you’ll also find the famous little Cille Choirill – a little church on the hill used in the filming of Monarch of the Glen.
The Head Chef has been in the hotel for several years now and has an excellent reputation for his home cooked food, having travelled the world cooking in his younger days. He has a vast knowledge of food and makes almost everything they serve from breads to soups, pates and an amazing array of mouthwatering desserts, using only the freshest local ingredients; with some being grown in the hotel’s very own greenhouse.
The small (but well-equipped and modern) gym looks out over the gardens, making it an inspiring area to work out in, as well as a pleasant place to unwind. They also have a sauna, and a jacuzzi that’s set in a gazebo outside, which also looks out over the gardens for added relaxation.
