Full Day Tour – Ref: FPCBW
You leave Edinburgh and travel over the Queensferry Crossing. You enter the Kingdom of Fife and make your first stop of the day at Kingsbarns Distillery.
This old farm has been beautifully converted, and on the optional tour you can learn about this area’s ancient connection to whisky production.
From here, you continue north to the Medieval town of St Andrews. This town is home to the third oldest university in Britain and a beautiful ruined castle.
Take a break here for lunch and sample some of the local brews.
After this, you take a pleasant drive through the rolling countryside of central Fife to Lindores Abbey Distillery. This Scottish distillery is built on the site of the first ever recorded distiller in the country. Learn about the first whisky made in Scotland and sample their ‘Aqua Vitae’. We continue onto Perth and the Innis and Gunn Brewery.
This innovative brewer is making some of the most exciting beers and ales on the market, and you have the chance to taste the fresh beers in their very own tap room. From here, it’s a short drive back to Edinburgh.
Departs from 6 Waterloo Place, Edinburgh, EH1 3EG next to the East End of Princes Street. Please be there ready 15 minutes before the departure time.
