In October 2018, the Government in the Republic of Ireland announced that it will raise the VAT rate on tourism services from 9% to 13.5%.
To adhere to this new legislation, we will be required to adjust the new VAT rate to 13.5% from 1st January 2019.
Any existing FIT bookings made before 9th October 2018 for travel from 01 Jan 2019 onwards will be honoured at the confirmed rates.
Any new bookings made from 9th October 2018 onwards for travel in 2019 will have the new VAT applied to them and this will be reflected in our tariffs.
Groups will be contacted directly and advised the new pricing taking in account the new VAT.
