Angela Shanley Associates Ltd and Flying Europe are delighted to announce a new partnership resulting in the joint ownership and full management of the French based tour operator by Angela Shanley Associates Ltd.

The company, located in central Paris and now re-branded as Flying Europe by ASA, was originally established in 2001 as an Incoming Tour Operator for France and until recently was fully owned by Arkia Israel Airlines.

Initially supporting local ground services for the airline, the company quickly established itself as an Inbound Operator throughout the Israeli market as well a variety of other international markets.

The synergies created as a result of this new co-ownership and management deal will see huge benefits to existing and new partners from both sides. Angela Shanley Associates Ltd will maintain its core values as a local market go-to specialist for the UK & Ireland, while Flying Europe by ASA will cover mainland Europe.

Mr Adonis Farantouris, Managing Director, Angela Shanley Associates Ltd said: We relish the opportunity to further increase the destinations available to our worldwide partners via our new French based team, whilst holding onto our original vision of the London office as a British Isles specialist.  That policy has been something all of us here continue to feel extremely passionate about since the company was founded 38 years ago and is a view we find shared by many of our partners.”

Existing services provided by Flying Europe by ASA for both FITS & Groups have been concentrated on arrivals to France, Belgium, the Netherlands & Germany and have now expanded into Austria, Switzerland and Romania.  The long term strategy will see Flying Europe by ASA offering a complete b2b FIT & Group solution for the whole of Continental Europe.

Mr Gil Waker, VP Sales & Marketing, Flying Europe by ASA said: “We are very excited with our new partnership and are delighted to be part of the ASA family.  Our commitment to provide high levels of service with a personal touch will continue as we look to expand our products and offerings across the Continent. Our team is highly motivated and looking forward to serving our new global partners with anything needed by their customers. A strong cooperation with our mother company in London will enable us to propose services all over Europe to our partners – acting together as a one-stop service supplier.”

With both London and Paris offices using the same Tourplan reservation system, our partners will feel familiar with the Online b2b Systems, and XML connections via existing channels will be simpler to replicate.  Despite this technology being at hand, the human element remains the key ingredient across both teams, delivering a fast and competitive service with a personal bespoke touch.
