UKinbound, the leading trade association representing the UK’s inbound tourism sector, celebrated a record year for tourism and offered personal recognition to eight of its members with Awards for Excellence 2014, at the Annual Convention’s Gala Dinner held in Leicester recently.
For the last time, Rita Beckwith OBE, previous Chair at UKinbound, presented her Chairman’s Award for Outstanding Contribution to Tourism to her own chosen winner, Adonis Farantouris, Managing Director of Angela Shanley Associates Ltd, calling him ‘A guru of industry knowledge…totally dedicated to the industry, to the development of the younger members, and a great supporter of our trade functions. Extremely experienced in all matters of the trade, I can think of no other more deserving member!’
This is wonderful recognition of an excellent 2014 season in which we have diversified our product offerings and the markets in which we operate, spreading the unique ASA experience around the globe.
